Berlin Politik Kundgebung gegen Islamophobie und Rassismus Der Koordinationsrat der Muslime (KMR) veranstaltete am Freitag den 19. September 2014 deutschlandweit vor Moscheen Kundgebungen unter dem Motto Muslime stehen auf gegen Hass und Unrecht . Der KMR wandte sich damit gegen die Zunahme von rassistischen und islamophoben Angriffen gegen Muslime und islamische Gotteshaeuser. Seit 2012 gab es mindestens 80 Angriffe gegen Moscheen. In Berlin wurde zudem vor der Kundgebung das Freitagsgebet vor der Mevlana-Moschee abgehalten. Die Moschee wurde am 11. August 2014 Ziel eines Brandanschlag. Auf der Kundgebung sprach auch der Vorsitzende der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland (EKD), Dr. hc. Nikolaus Schneider.
